Terms of delivery

We ship all items safely worldwide. All orders are handled as quickly as possible (at the same day or the next working day after the order has been completed). All orders will be delivered via FedEx, GLS, Posti or Matkahuolto, depending on your location and choice.

Prices

Prices for orders inside the European Union

All the products include the Finnish VAT (24% is the general rate, 14% for food products and 10% for books). The prices can be found in the item information.

Prices for orders outside the European Union (tax-free information)

Ordering outside the European Union, you will get the products tax-free (VAT 0%). The prices will be shown without taxes when you either:
a) are logged in as a user with delivery address outside EU.
b) have proceeded over the "delivery address" page in the checkout process.

You may select the "Show prices without taxes" option in your user profile settings, when logged in.
Register as a customer if you haven't already, and start shopping tax-free.
Additional duties and taxes may apply and be charged at the time of delivery.

Additional info for FedEx deliveries to customers in Russia:

Duty-free shipments to private individuals in Russia, without individual customs clearance, from e-commerce shippers are allowed with a limit per person consignee in any given month of 1000 euros and/or 31 kilograms. Shipments that individually exceed the limit, or push the monthly total over the limit, require payment of import duties and taxes by the consignee.

Payments by Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club or JCB

Netbanks

Paytrail Oyj (FI2122839) provides netbank related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumer the service works exactly the same way as traditional web payments.

International bank transfer

After confirming your order, you will get payment instructions to your e-mail. You have 12 days to pay for the order, and if payment has not been received in time, order will be automatically cancelled. After we have received your payment, we will send your order to you. You should pay all extra costs made by your local bank, otherwise we won't be able to ship your order until we receive the payment in total.
If you choose to pay by bank transfer, we will have to charge an additional fee of EUR 1,24 to cover the costs. Please also notice that international bank transfers may take several days to show in our bank account.

Transportation

Backstage Rock Shop Ltd is responsible for products that are damaged or get lost during transport. However, you must contact us within 14 days. The responsibility is yours if products are damaged or lost during the return transport.

Returns and exchanges

All our goods have a 14-day (from receiving the delivery) return and exchange policy, excluding underwear and other hygienic or intimacy products (e.g. earplugs), gift certificates and Outlet products.

We strive to deliver the appropriate goods in flawless condition. However, if you received a wrong or faulty product, you can change it to a new one.
Or, when appropriate, we will refund your payment.

4. Purpose of the Register and Storing Personal Data

Personal customer data can be used in:

  • managing orders
  • maintaining customer relationships
  • e-mail marketing (voluntary)

5. Content of the Register

We store personal customer data including:

  • name
  • e-mail address
  • address (street address, house/apartment number)
  • postal code and post office
  • date of birth (voluntary)
  • phone number (voluntary)
  • company name (voluntary)
  • customer relationship information, such as order history

6. Regular sources of information

Information provided by the Customer, Backstage Rock Shop order database, and information bought from third parties in accordance with Finnish law.

7. Regular Transfer of data and data transmissions outside EC and European Economic Area

Data is not submitted or transferred in any form to parties outside EC and European Economic Area.

8. Data security principles

Manual register is stored in a locked, electronically protected room. Computer data is stored in a locked room and protected by firewall, user name, and password.

Information will be shared both internally and externally with the following groups:

  • employees who need the data in their work
  • authorities in accordance with the law (e.g. social workers and tax authorities)
  • partners and subcontractors that are essential in maintaining the customer relationship (e.g. involving payment and shipping)

Data file can be accessed only by employees whose job includes the handling of customer data, predefined by the Data File Administrator. These employees are bound by confidentiality agreement.

9. Right to inspect data and the exercise thereof

Registered persons have the right to inspect their personal data and ask for a copy of the said data. The request shall be made in writing, signed and addressed to the Administrator of the Data File.

10. Right to Request Changes in the Data and the Exercise thereof

Registered persons have the right to request rectification of incorrect data. Such requests shall be made in writing and in sufficient detail and addressed to the Administrator of the Data File.

11. Right to Prohibit the Use of Data

Registered persons have the right to prohibit the Data File Administrator from using their personal data for telesales and other means of marketing, genealogical surveys and polls. The request shall be made in writing and addressed to the Administrator of the Data File.
